Former Peaky Blinders star Jamie first stepped onto the cobbles as Phill Whittaker in July 2021, and his character fell head over heels in love with Fiz Stape (Jennie McAlpine) at the Furniture Shop.

But after just one drama-filled year, Jamie told fans that his time on the show had come to an end.

Last summer, he said in an Instagram video recorded on the cobbles: "The modern day Jack and Vera are reunited and I feels so honoured to have played my part in that.
