Coronation Street spoilers: Gina Sneddon betrays sister Sally Metcalfe and snogs her husband Tim as they begin rampant affair

Fans of the ITV soap know that Gina – who is played by Connie Hyde – has had her eye on Tim for months and has been playing him and wife Sally Metcalfe off against each other.

And poor old Sally hasn't been able to say a thing, as she's currently locked up in Weatherfield nick.

As the week kicks off, Tim is feeling miserable – still believing that Sally cheated on him with conman Duncan Radfield.

Refusing to sell Street Cars to pay off Sally’s debt, her daughter Sophie Webster warns him that if he doesn’t sell up solicitors will come after the house.

Tim – actor Joe Duttine – believes Sally got herself into this mess and stands his ground, leaving Sophie stunned when he puts No.4 Coronation Street up for sale.

How will she tell her mum?

Meanwhile Tim asks Gina to move in with him and Faye, but it seems Gina isn't finished with playing games yet.

When Sally next phones home, Gina makes sure she twists the knife – leaving both Sally and Tim crushed about the state of their crumbling marriage.

Later, at the Street Cars Christmas party at the Bistro, Tim hits the bottle – big time.

He drunkenly declares that because Sally did the dirty on him, he is entitled to repay the favour and plans to hook up with someone making Gina’s ears prick up.

Tim gets thrown out of the Bistro and Gina escorts him home where he confesses he misses Sally.

He then thanks Gina for everything she’s done and kisses her.

But does this mean Christmas has come early for Gina?
