Coronation Street favourite Jude Riodan posts gushing tribute to co-star brother

Coronation Street sweetheart Jude Riordan has issued a gushing tribute to his co-star brother on social media.

The talented 11-year-old is known for his now famous role as Sam Blakeman on the ITV Cobbles after he joined the cast back in 2020.

And it didn’t take long before the St Helens star became a firm fan favourite among viewers after carving out a permanent role for himself as Nick Tilsley and Natasha Blakeman’s son.

Away from the cameras, Jude’s mum runs the rising star’s Instagram account and regularly updates his 83,000 followers with his showbiz life both on and off screen.

On Tuesday (April 18), the loving mum took to his Instagram Story to pass on a special birthday message to his older brother to mark his 16th birthday.

They shared a sweet snap of the two together during a family holiday as they beamed to the camera, which she captioned: “My big brother is 16 today. Love you Zachy Chan.”

The youngster lives with his loving family and his older brother Zach who continue to support his blossoming acting career.

But it turns out he’s not the only talented member of the family, after Zach shared the screen with his sibling on the ITV soap last year.

The teen took on the role of Oscar, who took on Sam in a chess tournament which was held at the bistro.

In a post on Instagram, Jude shared a series of snaps from the intense day of filming with his older brother as he gave fans a glimpse behind the scenes.

His mum shared a snap of their joint dressing rooms on the door before sharing snaps of the dynamic duo hard at work on set.

She captioned the memorable moment: “When it was bring your brother to work day. BEST DAY.”
