Cher Lloyd devastated as her beloved pet dog Buddy dies at nine years old

DEVASTATED Cher Lloyd has revealed her pet dog Buddy has died.

The singer, 28, shared a photo of the nine-year-old French bulldog on Instagram and said his death had left her heartbroken.


She wrote: "Yesterday we said goodbye to Buddy. Our hearts are absolutely broken. You were such a good boy Bud, the best boy.

"Over 9 years of love, we will miss you and remember you forever ♥️."

She was inundated with supportive messages. Ru Paul star Michelle Visage wrote: "I'm so sorry."

Former Towie star Bobby Norris posted: "I’m so sorry, sending my love ❤️.

X Factor's Katie Waissel said: "Im so sorry, thinking of you xx."

Cher posted another picture of her with Buddy and a sweet home video of him opening presents.

She also shared a London Underground board notice hitting out at people who say "it's just a pet".

The poignant message said pets provide their owners with irreplaceable friendship, adventures and memories.

Cher shot to fame on the X Factor in 2010 after reaching the live finals.

Her debut single Swagger Jagger reached number one in the UK and album Sticks and Stones peaked at number four in the charts.

Jesy Nelson cited Cher as an influence after seeing her attitude-filled performances on the ITV talent show.
