Channel 4 to launch Love Island ‘copy’ that encourages couples to cheat

August 12, 2021

A new dating show is said to be in the works for Channel 4 – but it’s uncannily similar to one already on air.

The Love Island “rip off” will star couples who are encouraged to cheat on their other halves with a series of sexy singletons.

Producers have been fishing for “adventurous singles” who want to take part in a “new social experience dating series”.

Though the other contestants will already be coupled up, it is believed that show bosses are seeking those who would consider “opening up their relationship", according to the Sun.

There is another similarity to ITV’s Love Island, too.

The whole thing will be set in a luxury location. Sound familiar?

Meanwhile back over on Love Island, hunk Teddy Soares has been coupled up with Faye Winter for weeks on the dating show, but some fans reckon he predicted his romance with Faye before he even set foot in the villa.

Teddy and Faye have become the centre of attention on the show after last week's explosive row between the two, which stemmed from Teddy's time in Casa Amor.

Earlier this week, the pair rekindled their fiery romance after Faye apologised to Teddy by the fire pit – and they shared a passionate kiss to make up.

Faye was left raging during the Movie Night challenge after seeing a clip of Teddy admitting he was "sexually attracted" to Clarisse Juliette – and proceeded to shout and swear at Teddy in front of the other Islanders.

However, some Love Island fans are convinced that Teddy predicted his journey with Faye before he even joined the ITV2 dating show.

The financial advisor is a man of many talents, but now some viewers have joked that he's a fortune teller too.

Teddy and Faye's reunion as a couple left Love Island fans divided on Twitter, with some viewers disappointed in Teddy for taking Faye back.

One follower commented: "Deep it. Thousands of people complained to Ofcom concerning Faye’s aggression towards Teddy for him to then go back to her. Teddy has taken us for a mug. Yeah I’m not getting involved again if Faye goes off on him again which I promise will happen.."

A second said: "The producers have definitely told Faye to apologise to Teddy… that woman would never have done it otherwise. Ofcom complaints made her on the Saturday they get off.
