Celebs Go Dating's Pete Wicks admits he was 'a t***' to ex Megan McKenna and says split was all his fault

The tattooed reality star, who is set to take part in Channel 4’s Celebs Go Dating alongside his former love, revealed in an interview that he was and a “bit of a k***”.

Speaking candidly ahead of the launch of the new series Pete, 30, admitted that the reason he and fiery ex Megan McKenna finished was down to him.

He said: “It [my relationship with Megan] mainly ended because I was a t**t and I couldn’t fix it back together.

When asked why he wanted to join the agency the lothario stated: “I’m sh*t at dating!

“Actually that’s a lie. I’m good at dating, I just can’t find Mrs. Right. Mainly because I’m a bit of k**b.”

The star went on to say that while he likes being single he thinks it’s time to start thinking about children and his future.

He said: “I… like being single but I also do believe in having kids and getting married and now that I’m 30 it’s about time I started looking towards that.”

For any single ladies hoping to woo “Pirate” Pete, he also revealed that he’s turned off by arrogance but finds confidence very attractive.

Viewers tuning in to the show can expect lots of talking from sensitive Pete, as he says that’s the way he really connects with a woman.

He said: “I’m not interested in activity dates because they always end up being more about the activity and you can’t get to know someone.

“For me it’s all about having a sit down and a proper chat with them and getting to know them.”

Megan McKenna and Pete Wicks are both set to star in the new series of Celebs Go Dating, which starts on Sunday 24 February on Channel 4.
