The Celebrity Big Brother star still had a profile on the matchmaking programme as of this weekend, despite having started filming for the latest series of the E4 show.

The main picture on his profile is a snap that was uploaded to Instagram as recently as the end of October.

A source said: "Celebs Go Dating only works if the stars are 100 per cent committed to the process and producers won't be happy with Sam if he's trying to hook up with girls outside of the show.

"Raya is a secretive, exclusive app meant for celebrities and other elite singletons with a rigorous application process.

"The fact he hasn't deleted it makes you wonder how serious Sam is about wanting to find love with a member of the public."

Cara Delevingne, Lewis Hamilton, Demi Lovato and Joe Jonas are among the celebrities who have been spotted on Raya.

A Celebs Go Dating source claimed Sam was no longer active on the app.

Celebs Go Dating bosses haven't been afraid to axe contestants for dating outside the show in the past."

Ex on the Beach star Stephen Bear, 28, was dropped midway through the second series in early 2017 after his relationship with Charlotte Crosby was exposed.

Sam, 26, was revealed as part of the new Celebs Go Dating lineup by The Sun almost two weeks ago.

It is his second appearance on the show after he took part in the fourth series in February.

Sam, who was with Made in Chelsea ex Tiffany Watson for three years, said: "Why am I back? Because it's not working."

Sam will be joined by big name signings Kerry Katona, Megan McKenna and her Towie ex Pete Wicks.

Love Island's Georgia Steel, Hollyoaks star Chelsee Healey and Ibiza Weekender rep David Potts round out the cast.

Relationship expert Anna Williamson, 37, has joined the cast replacing former agent Nadia Essex, who was axed midway through the last series after being caught trolling social media users with fake accounts.
