Britney Spears' mom Lynne slams 'uninformed' trolls after she's accused of 'not helping' star get out of conservatorshipAugust 11, 2021
LYNNE Spears has clapped back at trolls who believe she has "not helped" her daughter Britney during her decade-long conservatorship.
The pop star recently admitted to feeling "hopeless" after her lawyer's request to "immediately remove" her father as her conservator was denied.
Lynne, 66, took to Instagram on Wednesday to share a photo of a massive spider web that she found in her yard.
The huge creature spun a gigantic web that hung between two trees as the author snapped a photo of the terrifying display.
"Wow! Look at the size of this spider web!!" she wrote in the caption.
However, fans of Britney, 39, saw the post as an opportunity to troll the mother of three for not "advocating" for her daughter.
"To catch all the lies y’all’s family been telling," one slammed, while another scathed: "It looks like a conservatorship you supported 💅🏻#freebritney."
"Like the one your daughter is trapped in. 😢," another compared, while a fourth ranted: "Go advocate for your DAUGHTER instead of posting random photos. Where's a photo of Britney? Where's a long winded post about your care and concern for Britney?"
However, Lynne had enough of the backlash as she shot back in the comments: "I do by using my lawyer and the legal system since day one and NOT to using social media or the press!
"You need to do your research! Sorry you are so uninformed! Have a great day and try positivity!"
'KILL THEM WITH KINDNESS'
Earlier this week, Britney confessed to feeling "hopeless" after the immediate removal of her father from her conservatorship was denied.
While sharing a video of her avocado toast recipe, she wrote: "In a system where I’ve felt completely hopeless for so long, at least I do have a platform to share!!!!
"As Selena Gomez says it best – The world can be a nasty place … I know it … you know it … kill them with kindness!!!"
In a previous rant, Britney shut down her followers who asked her to be cautious of what she was posting.
"I know in my previous post I said you guys know my situation but LET ME CLARIFY … you only know half of it !!!!" she claimed.
"And for a lot of you who say I should be cautious with what I post … I mean if you REALLY THINK ABOUT IT … with what I’ve been through I believe I been WAAAY TOO CAUTIOUS !!!! One day I will live on the edge !!!! One day …"
The Sun has confirmed that the judge presiding over Britney's case, Brenda Penny, denied her lawyer's petition to "immediately remove" her father Jamie as her conservator on Monday.
Mathew Rosengart's request to move the hearing date forward to this month from September 29, was also denied.
Judge Penny seemed to side with Britney's dad as she "denied without prejudice" the requests.
Despite the fact that Britney's legal team submitted documents last week saying that each day that passed with her father as the conservator was causing "avoidable harm" to her, the court will not be removing him immediately.
A week before the decision was made, Jamie claimed he had a July 9 call with Jodi, Britney's lead conservator, during which she allegedly felt Britney was so “mentally sick” she was considering putting her under a psych hold.
