Britain’s Got Talent: Bruno jokes he’s ‘going to get sacked’

Britain’s Got Talent judges Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell, and Alesha Dixon have seen it all during their years on the iconic ITV panel. However, on Saturday night they were treated to a comedy act they had never seen before, which left viewers baffled as to what was going on.

Viggo Venn walked out with his high visibility jacket on, as Simon asked: “Why are you here?”

Viggo explained: “I am here because I want to become a British comedian,” before he ran off stage and began his act.

He started by skipping around the stage, trying to get the audience involved, before the music came to an abrupt end.

The hi-vis jacket was taken off before he ripped open his shirt to reveal another hi-vis jacket and continued to dance around the stage.

Noticing the sombre look from Simon, he rang over to the microphone and mimicked Simon’s actions as she said: “Simon’s face is like this.

“In Norway, that means you are doing really good,” ripping his high vis four more times and skipping around the stage.

Ending the act, he began to walk off but the audience were loving his enthusiasm and energy before he took off his shirt to reveal yet another hi-vis jacket.

He continued to stop and start the music, teasing Simon before he slammed: “Don’t do this to me,” pressing his buzzer.

Behind the scenes, presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donelly along with the crew were also dressed in hi-vis jackets.

Viggo ended the act with a sparkly gold jacket and was joined by Ant and Dec, leaving Amanda in hysterics.

Getting his feedback from the judges, Alesha asked: “I thought it was going to be stand-up comedy?” before Viggo quipped: “Yes but it is a bit difficult with the language for me.”

Simon slammed: “I have no idea what is going on right now but it was really annoying, really stupid and none of it was any good, the most stupid act we have had this year.”

Bruno, Alesha and Amanda all decided to say yes to Viggo’s act which meant he was through to the next stage of auditions.

Whilst Bruno claimed: “You couldn’t make that up,” and while they were happy with their decisions, viewers were left baffled by the unique act.

Sam Farmer asked: “What am I watching? #BGT.”

Ryan Glendenning fumed: “Mate this isn’t British comedy – what a load of c**p this is. Push the buzzers already. #BGT.”
