December 8, 2021

The One Show fans were fuming on Wednesday evening after the popular BBC show was delayed in a rescheduling shake-up for the latest Covid announcement.

Ahead of the BBC News at Six Ronan Keating announced that the hit evening show was going to be delayed due to the Prime Minister’s latest pandemic announcement as the countdown to Christmas continues.

It comes after No. 10 Downing Street came under fire for hosting a work Christmas party during the peak of the global pandemic.

For this reason, the talk show was set to air at 7.30pm rather the usual time of 7pm which altered viewers usual TV schedule.

Before the channel went live to Downing Street, the Boyzone singer appeared on the classic green sofa alongside Michelle Ackerley as they informed viewers of the new update.

He said: “Tonight’s The One Show is on slightly later at 7.30 pm and we are cruising into Christmas with Jane McDonald.”

Co-host Michelle added: “Harry Potter actor Evanna Lynch reveals how her magical role helped her recover from an eating disorder.

“And Watchdog’s Matt Allwright meets the employees scammed by someone pretending to be their boss. See you at 7.30pm.”
