BBC Breakfast fans have swooned over Carol Kirkwood during her weather report – gushing 'beautiful as always!'

The 60-year-old was on hand to give viewers the latest updates on the weather around the UK today.

Carol wore a pretty black dress which featured a white heart print design as well as a frill detail at the shoulder and waist.

With her blonde hair styled in waves, Carol looked great and BBC Breakfast viewers were quick to tell her.

Taking to Twitter, one wrote: "Good morning kind lady. May I say you look as beautiful as always."

Another added: "Good morning Carol, love the hearts."

A third tweeted: "Morning lovely lady x."

Carol wasn't the only one wearing a heart-themed dress today, as Sally Nugent also got the memo.

Sally, 51, wore a black shirt dress with little red hearts all over it, which she cinched in at the waist with a chunky black belt.

Yesterday, Carol paid a sweet tribute to Len Goodman following his sad death at the weekend.

As she spoke, old clips of Carol on Strictly Come Dancing in 2015 in her ballgowns played on screen.

Carol looked even more glamorous than she does on BBC Breakfast in the glittering gowns and Strictly-fied hair and make up.

She said: "Len was just a lovely, lovely kind generous man and I remember my very first dance at Strictly.

"I was so nervous I thought my heart was going to thud right out of my body and I made a mess of it.

"Len was so lovely, what he said was it was like a summer, there were bright spells in it and there were bits of grey from time to time – so he started with a weather analogy."

Carol added: "He had that twinkle in his eye in the corridor and would say, 'keep going, you're doing fine.'"

BBC Breakfast airs daily from 6am on BBC One.
