Wolves set to seal Jose Sa transfer from Olympiacos for £6.8m as replacement for Roma-bound Rui Patricio this weekJuly 13, 2021
WOLVES will reportedly complete the signing of Olympiacos keeper Jose Sa for £6.8million this week.
The Molineux side have wasted no time in replacing their present No.1 Rui Patricio, who's set to join Jose Mourinho's Roma for £10.2m.
They agreed terms with Roma today and the deal will be finalised in a few days' time, according to Telegraph reporter John Percy.
Wolves are said to have Patricio's fellow Portuguese native Sa waiting in the wings to take his spot.
Sa, who managed to keep an impressive 15 clean sheets out of 29 games in Greece last season, will be one of Bruno Lage's first signings after he was unveiled as Wolves' new boss last month.
And Patricio, who's spent the last three years at Molineux and made 127 appearances, will also be one of Mourinho's first additions to his Roma squad.
He'll find himself replacing out-of-favour stopper Pau Lopez at the Stadio Olimpico.
The former Spurs flop was not wanted by Mourinho for the new season.
And Lopez has now completed a season-long loan move to Marseille.
Ruthless Mourinho plans to rip up Roma's present team in his pursuit of Serie A dominance.

The ex-Chelsea boss has allegedly told eight first-team stars that they haven't got a future with the club.
Sky Sports Italy claim former Chelsea winger Pedro, Justin Kluivert, Steven Nzonzi and goalkeeper Robin Olsen are among the players who will no longer train with the first team.
Ante Coric, Davide Santon, Javier Pastore, and Federico Fazio have also reportedly been cast aside by Mourinho.
The unwanted stars were callously told the news about their axe from the squad in a post on social media by Roma revealing their pre-season line-up.
