West Ham flop Sofiane Feghouli set for Galatasaray after just one season in the Prem

January 30, 2022

SOFIANE FEGHOULI is ready to quit West Ham for Galatasaray – after one season.

The Algeria midfielder has been plagued by injuries since arriving from Valencia.

And Galatasaray chiefs are close to agreeing a £4.5million deal after flying to London for talks with Hammers officials last week.

The Turkish giants' coach Igor Tudor said: "I held discussions with our president Dursun Aydin Ozbek and told him that Feghouli has the abilities we are looking for.

"Feghouli is a player who interests us, and signing him will be very good for our team."

Ex-Grenoble star Feghouli, 27, hit four goals in 27 games for the Hammers but rarely started.

Now he is set to play for Tudor, who was a Croatia team-mate of West Ham boss Slaven Bilic.

Feghouli has played 42 times for Algeria, notching 11 goals.
