UFC legend Jon Jones calls out Brock Lesnar for fight after quitting WWE and threatens 'I'll beatcha ass too'September 1, 2020
JON JONES has seemingly called out Brock Lesnar and Stipe Miocic as he prepares to move up to UFC’s heavyweight division.
The 33-year-old relinquished his light-heavyweight title last month in order to make the move up.
With regards to Miocic, Jones says he should receive a shot before Francis Ngannou, who lost to Miocic two years ago.
And he vowed to easily beat Lesnar if he wants to get it on inside the octagon after leaving WWE.
He tweeted: “Stipe doesn't want to fight Francis again because the first fight really wasn't close.
“Looking at it from Stipe's point of view, fighting Francis again is definitely more of a lose situation than win.
“Stipe asked for a new challenge, why not fight the light heavyweight [Greatest of All Time]? Besides we're way closer in size. What's more exciting than that?
“By the time he heals up my body weight should be right where it needs to be. This fight lines up perfectly.”
But it was his comments regarding Lesnar that had most people talking.
Jones (26-1) said: “Brock I'll beatcho (sic) ass too.”
Former title holder Lesnar also wants to fight Jones, according to fellow WWE legend Kurt Angle.
But the ever-confident Jones believes The Beast Incarnate would provide him with any problems whatsoever.
Angle had previously said: “I know he said that he's retired.
“The one fight he wants, and I don't know if it's ever going to happen, but he wants to go up against Jon Jones."
Reacting to those comments, Jones responded last month with: “He knows that's what his friends want to hear, but he doesn't really want this fight. Trust me.
“Brock is way too slow, I'll embarrass him.”
Lesnar defeated Mark Hunt at UFC 200 in 2016 while still under contract with WWE.
But that win was later overturned to a no-contest after he failed a drugs test.
That was his last MMA fight after a comeback against Daniel Cormier was teased but failed to materialise.
