EXCHEQUER looks a fair price after a couple of good runs this season, particularly when third at Kempton last time. He was less than a length off the pace there and has solid each-way claims over a trip that suits. Lion Hearted is in cracking form and was value for further than half a length when winning at Chelmsford latest.

He has a penalty for that and gets on well with today’s claiming rider. Breathless Times comes here fresh and shaped well in fifth when last seen at Newcastle in February. He likes the track and is a threat.

AMADE comes over from France looking hard to beat after a run of excellent efforts over this sort of trip. He crossed the Channel to win easily at Kempton and Chelmsford earlier this year and looks a couple of steps ahead of today’s rivals.

Watersmeet is a consistent performer over this distance and around this track, including when second last time out. He has every chance of finishing second.

Aircraft Carrier didn’t get going at Chelmsford latest but had earlier won there and at Wolverhampton. He stays and has more to offer at this distance.

GORGEOUS NOORA has been running well and will appreciate going back to the all-weather after a modest run at Doncaster last time. She won well here on her previous start in Listed company and, if she can repeat her 6f form at this longer distance, her odds could be generous.

Rasima hasn’t been seen since November but she won a Listed race well here over a mile there and is interesting on this drop in distance.

Crossing The Line battled on strongly to win over this trip at Kempton last time and has been highly consistent.

KACHY looks the bet of the day after landing a convincing win over course and distance last time out in February. That was a listed race and he’s got form in higher grades too and should be too strong.

Encrypted was last seen winning a Listed contest over this trip here and Ryan Moore is an interesting booking for Hugo Palmer’s four-year-old. They have solid place claims, while Forza Capitano won a shade cosily on the all-weather at Chantilly last time after finishing third at Group 3 level. A repeat of that would put him in the shake-up.

CHARMING KID couldn’t have been any more impressive when winning at Dundalk last time out. He didn’t have to come out of first gear to win going away by almost three lengths. This is a tougher race than that but he was third in the Group 2 July Stakes at Newmarket last term so has a touch of class.

Pizzicato has been in flying form in France and landed a Listed win at Chantilly last time. He seems right at home over this distance and looks open to plenty of improvement.

Deep Intrigue has been consistent and was a neck second in a Listed race over 7f here last time. He prefers this distance and is another to consider.

WISSAHICKON is a short order but with good reason after landing his fifth win on the spin in the Group 3 Winter Derby here last time out. The winning margin was just over three lengths but he had trouble in running before storming away from his rivals. He looks hard to stop over an ideal distance.

Matterhorn keeps it simple from the front and could grab second. He went off too quick at Kempton last time to end a run of five wins but there should be more pace on here, which will help him settle.

Master The World is a Listed-class runner who held his own in that company at Kempton and has every chance of hitting the frame again.

STRAIGHT RIGHT ran a cracker to finish second in a hot handicap at Newcastle last time after finishing second on his last outing around here.

He sees out a mile well and can be relied on to run another good race. Cardsharp was badly baulked when third at Kempton last time out on the back of an excellent win here.

He shapes as though he will get this longer distance and has solid place claims. Oh This Is Us was below par at 7f at Wolverhampton latest and he’ll be much happier over this trip as he was when winning here in February.
