    SCORES ON THE DOORS

An enthralling afternoon of golf. Rahm and Garcia delivered yet again and the Lowry/Hatton partnership clung on by the skin of their teeth.

But it's a 3&1 victory for Scheffler and Dechambeau while Rory and Poulter flop again.

That's it from me. Let's pray for a miracle tomorrow.

  • The Sun

    MOUNTAIN TO CLIMB

Fleetwood's chip for birdie teases the hole on 17 and that could be that.

DeChambeau pulls one out when it really matters to 8-foot.

Hovland can't make his putt and that's that! A point for America and Europe are really up against it tomorrow.

They need just 3.5 points to win the Ryder Cup tomorrow.

  • The Sun

    RED STILL RULES

Cheers from the Americans as Scheffler taps in his birdie to win the hole on 16th.

Dormie two now for the Americans… it's looking rather bleak.

  • The Sun

    ANOTHER POINT!

The two Spaniards do it again on the 17th green as Garcia sinks his par putt to halve the hole.

That's a 2&1 but just as that match is settled so is Rory and Poulter's 4&3 defeat against DJ and Morikawa.

10-5 now on the scoreboard with Europe down in the other game.

  • The Sun

    SHANE LOWRY YOU BEAUTY!

He seals a hard-fought European point with a brilliant par on the last.

All the pressure was on his shoulders after English made a 4. Lowry had to hack it out of the bunker for his second but made a sensational up-and-down from over 100 yards to snatch a point.

Nerves of steal and a point on the board.

  • The Sun

    IN A PICKLE

On the all-important 18th, English puts the pressure on with an excellent second to the fringe of the green from 200-yards.

Hatton pulls it into the greenside bunker. It's laying flat but he'll need an up-and-down. They don't make this easy for us do they?

Lowry was facing all sorts of trouble but his third lands to around 7-feet. He'll have that for par.

Rahm hits the green on 17… first job done.

  • The Sun

    SENSATIONAL RAHM!

WOW. What a player. The world No1 sinks a lengthy birdie on the 16th and Spieth can't make the halve!

It's almost killer blow from Rahm and Europe have a dormie 2 heading to the par-3 17th.

  • The Sun

    LETHAL SCHEFFLER

It's a terrible time for Europe as Scheffler holes a brilliant birdie on 15.

1up on 12, Fleetwood and Hovland are now 1down as they head to the 16th.

Europe up in 2 and down in 2

  • The Sun

    CLOSING IN

A nice boost for Lowry and Hatton as Finau and English miss the fairway on 18 to the right.

Hattons rips it down the middle but Lowry can't follow as he pulls it left.

Morikawa sinks another birdie on 14 and Poulter follows. 3down with four to play.

  • The Sun

    DOWN THE LAST

Hatton fails to take advantage and the American crowd revels in it.

He takes the par and Finau has the chance to win the hole… there's plenty of faffing about as Lowry and English both try to chip in for par.

Finau's putt is agonisingly short and they'll walk off with the halve and head down the 18th!

  • The Sun

    HATTON COMES TO THE FORE

Finau hits the green on the tough 17th but Hatton lands a stunner to around 10-feet.

English hits his in the minefield that is the left of the green and Lowry flies over the back.

There's a huge roar from the 14th as DeChambeau wins the hole with a birdie with that game all-square.

  • The Sun

    RAHM HAS CAJONES OF STEAL

It's a MASSIVE moment in this match as Rahm holes his birdie for the hole.

Spieth couldn't match it and Europe move 1up with three to play!

    Ahead now in 3!

  • The Sun

    SUPERB BY HATTON AND RAHM

Spieth has the crowd on their feet as he delivers a wonderful second towards the 15th flag.

But Rahm responds and gets it inside Spieth to around 7-feet.

Elsewhere Hatton has a golden look at birdie on the 16th with a stellar third shot.

  • The Sun

    STANDING FIRM

Scheffler and DeChambeau both have chances for birdie and the hole on 13 but they can't take advantage.

Another hole crossed off the list for Fleetwood and Hovland as they remain 1up.

Morikawa holes for par and the halve on the 12th and America stay 3up.

  • The Sun

    EDGING CLOSER

Lowry and Hatton walk off with a par on the 15th and remain 1up.

Just three to play now in a must-win match for the Europeans.

Rahm and Garcia walk off with a halve on 14 and that one is too close to call.

  • The Sun

    BLUE ON THE BOARD?

DeChambeau and Scheffler have made a right hash of the 12th and both have failed to find the green in two on the par-3.

Fleetwood and Hovland are on the green with a great chance of moving 1up.

It's another half for Rory and Poulter who remain 3down.

  • The Sun

    A WOBBLE

On the 13th as Koepka makes a brilliant birdie.

Rahm is desperately unlucky as his chip bounces off the lip and lies haplessly next to the hole.

It's all-square now with five to play.

  • The Sun

    SUPERB BY HATTON!

Wow, somehow he salvages a halve with a huge birdie putt from around 25-feet.

That keeps them 1up as they make their way to the 15th. That could be a huge moment in this match.

  • The Sun

    STILL SCRAPPING

Well played by Poulter as he rescues a halve with a birdie on 10. Holes running out for this pair but DJ and Morikawa are just too good.

English pulls off a stunner on the 14th and lands it to around a foot. And Europe are back on the ropes in this match.

It's all going on as Fleetwood rescues a halve with an excellent par putt under pressure.

  • The Sun

    UNBELIEVABLE LET-OFF

Spieth's winning putt on the 12th does a whole 360 around the hole and somehow stays on the lip.

He and the crowd can't believe it. A lucky break for Rahm and Poulter who were both in the bunker from the tee.

  • The Sun

    FINAU MAKES A MOVE

Hatton and Lowry can only make a par but Finau rolls his putt across the green and into the hole for birdie.

Europe are now just 1up in that game with five holes left to play. Certainly a nail-biter to say the least.

  • The Sun

    EXTRA MUSCLE

It's a halve for Rahm and Garcia on the 11th and that all-important match remains on a knife-edge.

But it's back to all-square in match 3 as DeChambeau holes a hugely impressive birdie.

This is becoming so difficult to predict as Spieth launches a stunner into the green on 12.

  • The Sun

    UPHILL BATTLE

Hatton can't take advantage on 12 but they still walk off with a halve and remain 2up.

Poulter and McIlroy are out of position on the fairway on the 9th and only Poulter can hit the green.

More of the same for Rory as he lands his second in the bunker.

  • The Sun

    HOVLAND IN-FORM

Stunning by the youngster as he sinks a birdie on nine.

DeChambeau bogeys and Scheffler can only par and that pairing have won the last two holes to move 1up.

  • The Sun

    WELCOME TO THE PARTY, HATTON!

He's been far from his best, but could his be the moment to spark his game into life?

His second into the back of the 11th green is rewarded with a birdie putt and makes no mistake to move 2up!

He then sends one towards the flag on the par-3 12th.

But the advantage is halved in Game Two as Koepka sinks a birdie on 10. 1up now to the Europeans.
