Manchester United activate Antonio Valencia's contract keeping him at Old Trafford for another year

MANCHESTER UNITED have triggered a one-year extension clause in Antonio Valencia's contract.

The right-back's previous deal, signed in 2014, was set to expire at the end of the season.

But the ex-Wigan man will remain at Old Trafford for at least another year having cemented his place in Jose Mourinho's side.
