Liverpool transfer news: Bookies predict most likely signings at Anfield with Bellingham and Bowen heavily linked

LIVERPOOL have been linked with a number of potential transfer targets this summer.

Betfair have revealed the three most likely players to arrive at Anfield with Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham currently the bookies' favourite.

It's fair to say Jurgen Klopp's side doesn't need much improvement in the current squad – the Reds have won both domestic cups this season, are in the final of the Champions League and only missed out in the league title by a solitary point.

However, with a few rumoured departures in the central midfield area, it could be a position they would like to sure up.

Saturday's Champions League final against Real Madrid will be the last game under James Milner's current contract.

Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain both have contracts expiring in 2023 so it's more than a possibility the two could be sold this summer.

Rumours of Jude Bellingham making a return to England have been around for a while, and Liverpool have long been thought the most likely destination for the former Birmingham player.

The 18-year-old has impressed massively during his two years at Borussia Dortmund and has become a permanent fixture in their first team.

Liverpool are believed to be 3/1 favourites to sign the midfielder, who has also become a frequent member of Gareth Southgate's England squads since moving to Germany.

West Ham's star winger Jarrod Bowen has also the subject of transfer rumours linking him to Anfield.

The 25-year-old was one of just three players this season to bag double figures in goals and assists in the Premier League, along with Mohamed Salah and Mason Mount.

Bowen was a key member of the Hammers' squad this season that reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, scoring in both legs of the quarter-final tie with Lyon.

David Moyes' men were also in the top four for the entirety of the first half of the season, before the lack of strength in depth in the squad became prominent as the side finished 7th to qualify for the Europa Conference League.

Serge Gnabry is another name rumoured to interest Klopp. The former Arsenal and West Brom man struggled to make a big impact in his previous stints in England.

A move to Germany, first to Werder Bremen, then to Bayern Munich revitalised his career though, bagging 64 goals and 40 assists in his 171 games for Bayern.

The German's contract runs out next year and it's thought he's unwilling to sign a deal, so Julian Nagelsmann may wish to sell him this window.

The Reds face tough competition for the 26-year-old's signature, with the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus and Arsenal all thought to be heavily interested.
