Lennox Lewis blasts Anthony Joshua for ducking big fights against Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury

Lewis, 53, believes AJ was impressed by Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder after their sensational draw in Los Angeles earlier this month.

And the ex-champ called for a re-match as he believes Joshua has no interest in taking on either of them.

Lewis told Compubox TV: "He doesn't want any of those guys. When he saw that fight, he was like, 'Wow these guys can box'.

"I think Wilder and Fury should have a rematch, Joshua can wait. I don't think he'll come over [to the United States] right now.

"I think he's too happy in England being protected, and boxing in front of the British crowd."

Joshua's last outing came in September when he stopped Russian Alexander Povetkin in the seventh round at Wembley Stadium.

And Fury, who made his comeback to the ring this year, wants to take on the winner of Joshua and Wilder.

That is according to the Gypsy King's trainer Ben Davison, who told Boxing Voice: “Going over there [America] again is obviously a big risk like we’ve already seen, with a big risk you need a big reward.

“Or do we do it over here [in the UK]. If we do it over here it’ll have to be a stadium fight, which will probably mean it’ll be in the summer."

On Wilder and Joshua, Davison added: "I think them two need to fight, Tyson will fight the winner of that."
