There are just hours remaining to get in on the Super Bowl 2021 betting bonanza.

The betting line for the clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers had remained steady in some quarters since the opening lines from two weeks ago when the teams secured their spots in Super Bowl 2021, but the hook in some precincts has vanished.

Super Bowl 2021 odds

Chiefs -3

The Chiefs are favored by 3 points at -110 (risk $110 to win $100 or anything in that proportion,) according to BetMGM, which has the Over/Under at 56.5 points, down one full point from when the odds were first released. The Buccaneers are 3-point underdogs at -110 (risk $110 to win $100 or anything in that proportion.) BetMGM was still offering Chiefs -3.5 as of Thursday. DraftKings, meanwhile, has the Chiefs -3 at -113, the Buccaneers +3 at -108 and an Over/Under of 56 points.

BetMGM’s moneyline odds — for betting the team outright instead of against the spread — have also shifted. The Chiefs are now -160 down from -175. A bettor won’t get quite as much for taking the Buccaneers outright, as they’re currently +135 (risk $100 to profit $135 or anything in that proportion) after opening +145. DraftKings has the Buccaneers at +138 and the Chiefs at -157.

There’s plenty of excitement in Las Vegas and beyond for the star-studded matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady, who is going for his seventh Super Bowl ring while Mahomes looks to repeat after winning his first last year. Brady, 43, went 6-3 straight up and 4-5 against the spread during his nine Super Bowl appearances with the New England Patriots.
