Hulk willing to take staggering 90 per cent pay cut to play for next club amid Premier League transfer offersDecember 9, 2020
HULK is willing to take a whopping 90 per cent pay cut to seal a switch to the Premier League, according to reports.
The Brazilian was reportedly pocketing a staggering £385,000-a-week salary during his four years in the Chinese Super League with Shanghai SIPG.
But he is now officially a free agent after turning down the opportunity to extend his contract in China.
According to the Record, the 34-year-old is assessing all options with his pockets lined.
Hulk even admitted he is not short of options having been inundated with offers from around the globe.
He said: "I am listening to many proposals from Brazil and many places including in Europe.
"[I have offers from] Turkey, Portugal, England, Spain, Italy, Germany – and I also have an offer from China.
"Every day more new proposals arrive."
Hulk scored 76 goals in 145 games during his lucrative time in China and is now willing to earn a more modest £48,000-a-week.
It is believed Porto are in the mix for his signing alongside former club Zenit St Petersburg.
West Ham have also been touted to be interested but it remains unclear whether boss David Moyes will make his move.
In July, Hulk showed off his incredible physique – looking even more shredded after hitting the gym during lockdown.
