Highest paid sport stars in world revealed as Conor McGregor tops list with £6m-per MINUTE earned while in ringFebruary 1, 2022
CONOR MCGREGOR is the highest paid sports star in the world… earning a staggering £6MILLION for every MINUTE he is in the ring.
As a result, it takes the 33-year-old around just seven seconds in the octagon to earn £1m.
As reported by OLBG, McGregor is the only athlete in the world who earns a seven-figure sum in less than two minutes of action.
He has fought just four times in the UFC since moving across to boxing to face Floyd Mayweather in 2017.
The Notorious lost to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018 in a heated grudge match.
He then spent 15 months out of action before destroying Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone inside one minute in January 2020.
Another year of inactivity followed, before McGregor returned at the beginning of 2021 and was stopped by Dustin Poirier- a man he had previously beaten in 2014.
He then faced Poirier for a third time back in July and lost again, this time by doctor's stoppage at the end of the first round after horrifically breaking his leg.
