Friday's racing tips: A Friday longshot to fill your pockets at Cheltenham from Jack Keene
December 14, 2018Some tasty handicaps had me scurrying through the runners on Thursday and I've found my each way bet lurking in the 2.30.
EL BANDIT (Cheltenham, 2.30) was punted off the boards ahead of his comeback run in the Badger Ales Trophy.
He'd been off the track for 500 plus days so clearly a big run was expected on his return.
He was ultimately pulled up a few from home, but on the whole had jumped well and clearly needed the pipe opener.
Before his absence he'd been a promising hurdler before winning with ease on chase debut.

They've stayed patient with him and surprisingly he's still only a seven-year-old.
He's Paul Nicholls's only dart at the race and I think Rock The Kasbah is vulnerable lugging around all that weight, despite being the class act in a decent field.
