Dwayne Haskins skipping NFL draft amid plunging concernsApril 11, 2019
Dwayne Haskins won’t be the sad kid left with his face plastered across television and social media, waiting to hear his name called.
The Ohio State quarterback will not be one of the prospects in attendance in Nashville, a possible sign his stock is slipping, as the NFL on Tuesday announced which hopefuls would be there. The other three top quarterbacks — Kyler Murray of Oklahoma, Drew Lock of Missouri and Daniel Jones of Duke — will be on hand on April 25.
Lock and Jones have been supposedly behind Haskins on draft boards, but that could be changing. Peter King recently wrote in his “Football Morning in America” column that “Haskins could plummet” in the draft. Haskins has been loosely linked to the Giants at No. 6, but it does not appear Big Blue will be going quarterback with their first first-rounder, at least.

Haskins won’t be the only top prospect not attending the draft. Michigan defensive end Rashan Gary, North Carolina State center Garrett Bradbury and Clemson defensive end Clelin Ferrell will be absent as well.
