Divinely cut from massive 50-1 into just 8-1 as Aidan O'Brien confirms all five of his team set for Oaks at Epsom

June 1, 2021

AIDAN O’BRIEN hopes he can improve his Divine record in the Oaks on Friday.

He’s set to send a fantastic five to the Epsom Classic spearheaded by long-time favourite Santa Barbara.

But it’s her stablemate Divinely that has been popular with punters and has been cut from a massive 50-1 last week into just 8-1.

And a certain Frankie Dettori could be in for the ride given boss John Gosden will be without a runner.

O’Brien has already won the Oaks a whopping eight times, and could be fielding over a third of the field in his attempt to make it nine. Snowfall, La Joconde and Willow complete the O’Brien quintet.

O’Brien said: “All five left in are set to be declared. We’ve always had the race in mind for Santa Barbara for her second run this year. We were delighted with her in the Guineas.

“That was only her second ever run and she passed the test with flying colours.

“We know she has a lot of class, we’re very excited about seeing her run and given that she’s by Camelot it gives us confidence about the trip.

“We always thought the world of Snowfall, she was a bit weak last year but she showed at York she’s got stronger. She just didn’t get it together last year.
