Chelsea look to offload forgotten star Victor Moses for £12m with Crystal Palace interested

December 9, 2018

Moses, 27, cannot get into Maurizio Sarri’s side and will find a new home next month.
The Blues’ price tag for the experienced Nigeria star is not putting off interested clubs.

Crystal Palace are thinking of moving for their former academy star with Fulham also monitoring the situation.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are trying hard to keep powerful right-back Reece James, 19 yesterday, sweet during his loan spell at Wigan.

Brighton are keen on the defender but Stamford Bridge officials regularly go to watch him so James knows he is in their plans.

Meanwhile Chelsea lie at the centre of an alleged racist storm after one of their fans appeared to hurl vile abuse at Raheem Sterling.

Chelsea handed Manchester City their first league defeat of the season thanks to goals from N’Golo Kante and David Luiz.

However, during the first half as Sterling close to the advertising boards of the Matthew Harding Stand, a number of Chelsea fans could be seen shouting aggressively at him.

The video clip, in which a fan appears to call Sterling a “f****** black c***” was widely shared on social media, causing a huge outcry.

BT Sport have promised to pass on video footage of the confrontation, while Sterling took to Instagram to address the abuse.

Sterling said: “I just want to say, I am not normally the person to talk a lot but when I think I need my point heard I will speak up," Sterling began.

"Regarding what was said at the Chelsea game, as you can see by my reaction I just had to laugh because I don't expect no better.”

A Chelsea spokesman added: “We’ll investigate the matter and take the strongest possible action where necessary.”

Chelsea also confirmed they will investigate claims a fan was ejected soon after the incident, but later seen back in the stands.
