Chelsea legend John Terry watches England rugby training as he picks up tips ahead of Wales Six Nations thriller
February 19, 2019The former Three Lions and Chelsea captain was invited into the camp by boss Eddie Jones and was accompanied by 2003 World Cup winner Richard Hill.
Terry, who is now working as Aston Villa's No2, swapped the beautiful game for the brutal game as he watched England go through their paces at their Bagshot base.
And the 38-year-old isn't the first man with Chelsea links to tap into the work of Aussie boss Jones either.
Ex-Blues boss Antonio Conte and his backroom staff have been in before as well as a host of other big names in football.
England counterpart Gareth Southgate has also popped down in the past during big Test weeks.
And there is no bigger week than this for Jones' men who are chasing a second Grand Slam in three years when they head to Cardiff.
Saracens hooker Jamie George said: "It’s an amazing fixture, isn’t it?
"When you look back at the history of the game, it’s the game that most people get excited about, come Six Nations time, especially when it’s in Cardiff. I’ve had some pretty positive performances against Wales.
"I was involved in that last one there when we won with almost the last play of the game, so personally for me there are some good memories.
"At the same time, it’s always a very competitive game and we know how good they are at the moment, so it’s going to be a big one.
"And you know what, I actually remember the game at Wembley (1999). A family friend, Kevin Bowring, was coaching Wales at the time.
"I remember that game; I was a big fan of Scott Gibbs in those days – until that game anyway!"
