One of the biggest stars in boxing is set to enter the ring for the first time this year.

Canelo Alvarez (54-1-2, 36 KOs) will put his WBA, WBC and The Ring super middleweight titles on the line against Avni Yildirim (21-2, 12 KOs) on Saturday. It’s a quick turnaround for Alvarez, who defeated Callum Smith less than three months ago. Yildirim, meanwhile, last fought in February 2019 when he lost to Anthony Dirrell via technical split decision.

What time does Canelo vs. Yildirim start?

The main card is set to begin Saturday at 7 p.m. ET. Canelo and Yildirim are expected to make their ring walks around 10 p.m. ET depending on how long the earlier fights last. 

All fights will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. Attendance will be limited in accordance with COVID-19 guidelines.
