Calvin Bassey offers future hint with Rangers star seen loving life with Ibrox pals in USA

RANGERS defender Calvin Bassey is a man in demand after a stellar season and talk regarding his future just won't go away.

With a host of Premier League clubs keeping tabs on the 22-year old and potential fees of around £25 million entering the discussion, Gers fans might feel they're right to be worried about losing one of their star men.

While chatter about his future is rife, it seems Bassey himself certainly isn't thinking about it.

Rangers fans looking for a clue about where the former Leicester kid's head is at might have been able to find one in his social media posts overnight.

Bassey is currently in the United States with the Nigeria squad.

The Super Eagles are facing Mexico and Ecuador in an international friendly double header taking place Stateside.

But it isn't just his international team mates he's been spending time with – he's been with a host of Rangers pals too.

In images uploaded to his Instagram story, Bassey can be seen loving life with several Ibrox stars.

Joe Aribo is out there too preparing for the Nigeria matches, and the pair have also been joined by Glen Kamara, Ryan Kent and Nnamdi Ofoborh.

Former Rangers man Brandon Barker, who exited the club in January, also joined his former team mates in Los Angeles.

Bassey also posted a picture of just himself and Kent, as well as one other image that Gers fans will hope might offer a cryptic clue.

It shows Bassey, Kent, Aribo and Kamara celebrating on the pitch with the Scottish Cup after last Saturday's 2-0 win over Hearts at Hampden.

Could it perhaps be a clue that Bassey sees his future playing alongside his Gers team mates? Light Blues supporters will hope so.

Bassey's stock rose after standout showings in both the Europa League and Scottish Cup finals.

Aston Villa, Wolves and West Ham are just three of the big English clubs who have been credited with an interest.

After that game at Hampden last Saturday, Bassey himself was asked about speculation regarding a return south, but he insisted he saw his future at Rangers.
