Arsenal target wanted by rival
Arsenal could miss out on summer target Moussa Diaby.
That's because Man Utd have joined the race for the Bayer Leverkusen winger.
Diaby is expected to leave his German side in a big-money move after another stunning season.
Arsenal and Newcastle are both keen, but United are now leading the race as they look to replace Jadon Sancho.

Gunners handed Neves boost
Midfielder Neves, 26, is keen to depart Wolves this summer with aspirations of playing in the Champions League next season.
Wolves are also believed to be interested in cashing in on the Portuguese international with his current contract expiring in June 2024.
Barcelona appeared a likely destination, however, Mendes’ ambitious plan to execute a switch between Neves and Catalan star Ansu Fati – another of his clients – has hit stumbling blocks.
Despite being unwanted at Barca by boss Xavi, Fati, 20, has no interest in swapping Spain for the Midlands.
Barca are not in a financial position to fork out an estimated £25m to bring Neves to the Nou Camp without the option of a player exchange.
Tensions between Fati and Mendes are at breaking point, while Neves is also getting frustrated that his future is no closer to being resolved.
SunSport understands that Mendes is using Barca’s weak interest in Neves to ramp up attention from previous potential suitors Arsenal and Newcastle.
The Premier League duo at one point had considered a move for Neves, but have since moved on to other targets.

MORNING ARSENAL FANS
Mikel Arteta is looking to get the club's transfer dealings rolling this summer with his priority targets.
Declan Rice is the one the Spaniard seems to want to get over the line more than anything else.
The longer it takes to agree terms with West Ham, the bigger the chance of somebody trying to hijack the deal.
The Gunners are already finding this with their other target, Moises Caicedo.
Now Mauricio Pochettino is at the club, he has identified the Ecuadorian midfielder as somebody he wants to bring to Stamford Bridge.
Meanwhile, Arteta is also looking to strike a deal with Man City for their wantaway full back Joao Cancelo.

Gunners need to act fast in Rice swoop
Fabrizio Romano has reported that Arsenal need to conclude their business quickly with West Ham for star Declan Rice.
Should Sheikh Jassim be successful in his takeover at Man Utd, Fabrizio Romano reports that the Old Trafford side could look to hijack any deal for the England midfielder.
Considering how much The Gunners have been targeting Rice as their priority transfer, the club needs to ensure this deal is done and dusted before such a takeover happens.

Arteta keen to strengthen defensive line
One of the failings of Arsenal during their impressive season, was that when sides high pressed their back line, they were left wanting.
In particular, Zinchenko's defensive capabilities were questioned.
With Ben White also playing at right back, Arteta has been rumoured to be contemplating switching to a back five next season.
White could slot in at his more recognised centre back position, but The Gunners would need to sign another full back, hence the interest in Joao Cancelo.

Villa could scupper Gunners' transfer plans

Arsenal need to answer Jesus question
While all the transfer focus seems to be on the centre of midfield, Edu needs to address the elephant in the room, the strikers.
There is no doubt Jesus added something to the squad this season but his goal return is not that of a side that will challenge Man City for the title.
With Eddie Nketiah as back up for the Brazilian, Mikel Arteta really needs to find a striker who is capable of scoring 20+ goals a season.

Sporting director Edu already knows what two transfers the club are going to try and seal when the dust is settled on Declan Rice.

Adding these two players, as well as Rice, would certainly give The Gunners a centre midfield to compete with anyone in the Premier League.

Mikel Arteta's side have enquired about the availability of Ousmane Diomande with Sporting Lisbon.
Juventus are also interested in the player who only recently moved to Portugal.

Gunners struggling to meet Hammers valuation
With Bayern Munich out of the picture, the only stumbling block in securing the services of Declan Rice seems to be the difference the two clubs have in their valuations.
Arsenal are willing to pay £90m for the England midfielder but West Ham are looking for a deal of £100m plus add ons.
With Gunners' fans desperate for the club to get the deal done, many question why Arsenal are haggling over such a small difference, which in the current market, seems like small change.

Mendes looking to entice Arsenal bid
The agent of Wolves' midfielder Ruben Neves is looking to get The Gunners to put a bid in for a player in the last year of his contract.
Barcelona remain interested in the player but they have serious problems with their wage bill and FFP.
The Catalan club will need to sell to buy and are more interested in a swap deal for Neves involving Ansu Fati.
Neves is good enough to play in most sides in Europe and would certainly improve the quality of The Gunners midfield.

Savage warning to West Ham star
Robbie Savage thinks that Declan Rice should swerve a transfer to North London this summer.
He feels the player would be better suited to some of their Premier League rivals.
On BBC Radio 5, Savage stated "I would go to Liverpool and Manchester United before Arsenal.
“Even though Liverpool have got no Champions League football.
“Liverpool, yes, it was a blip this year. I think they will come back stronger.
"They have signed Mac Allister. If you add Rice as well, WOW! I think they will be in the top four.”

Arsenal winger open to Saudi move
Nicolas Pepe is reportedly interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.
With Arsenal keen to offload the flop signing, the player seems interested in offering the huge cash sums that seem to be on offer to European players this summer.

Gunners looking for replacement for flop
While Arsenal contemplate what they are going to do with Nicolas Pepe, they have already been considering his replacement.

With only a year left on his current deal in Spain, Arteta will be hoping they can sign the player at a knocked-down price.

Can Arsenal challenge without squad overhaul
The Gunners fell away at the end of the season with Man City winning the title in a relatively comfortable fashion.
While the campaign was one of the best in some time for the North London outfit, some have questioned whether the squad is capable of repeating the unique season.
Potentially, Arsenal need six or seven players to hope to emulate their accomplishments of this season and whether the club can invest so heavily remains to be seen.

Will main targets blow transfer budget
It is no secret that Arsenal's main transfer targets this summer are Declan Rice and Moises Caicedo.
With West Ham asking for £90m for their star and Brighton likely to want a similar figure for Caicedo, these two signings would eat up a huge chunk of Arteta's transfer budget.
If this is the case, many are wondering whether the North London club would be better off targeting just one of the two players.
