ARSENAL  have joined Manchester United in the race for Marseille wonderkid Isaac Lihadji.

The 17-year-old French winger is attracting interest from around Europe.

And he could be available for nothing come the summer window as talks over a new deal have broken down.

French outlet La Provence claims a move away from the French giants is imminent.

Tottenham are also interested in the 17-year-old, who was born in Marseille and came up through the club's youth team.

He only made his professional debut in September, playing in the final 12 minutes of the 0-0 draw with Dijon.

Lihadji has made just one more appearance since and warmed the bench four times.

But he is already a star of the French U18s side, scoring four times in his ten games.

As a result, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus,Valencia, Barcelona, Everton and Lille have also been linked to the teenager.

And Marseille boss Andre Villas-Boas looks like he is fighting a losing battle to keep him.

Marseille boss, ex-spurs and Chelsea chief Andre Villas-Boas is clearly taking his time in developing one of France's hottest prospects.

The young winger would fit the mould of the type of player Manchester United are targeting.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking for young attacking talent after missing out on Erling Haaland to Borrussia Dortmund last month.

He also faces loses winger Tahith Chong to Juventus on a free transfer, with the Dutch youngster seeking more game time.
