Anthony Joshua set to fight either Andy Ruiz or Michael Hunter after Jarrell Miller failed a string of drugs tests

EDDIE HEARN has named Anthony Joshua's two most likely opponents after Jarrell Miller's drug rap.

AJ, 29, is making his US debut in New York on June 1 and will be desperate to make an impression.

Miller's failed drug tests have thrown a spanner in the works but Hearn is optimistic that Andy Ruiz or Michael Hunter could help put on a show.

He said: “I like Andy Ruiz, I like Michael Hunter, I think they’re two guys who are two credible fights.

“Ruiz is a character, aesthetically he doesn’t look the best, but he’s a tough b*****d, he’s Mexican, he’s got fast hands, he can let his hands go.

“Michael Hunter is extremely skilled, very difficult to beat.

“He’s on a great run, could be a massive banana skin.

“There are other guys as well, and I understand that you’re going to get a bumper pay day [as the replacement fighter], but I’ve just seen that it’s all about the money for them, and I’m not even sure they want it.

“I don’t want that, because this is a big night for Anthony Joshua.

“This is Madison Square Garden, there’s going to be 20,000 people there, we need to make sure this is a real fight.

“AJ is up for anybody, anybody.”

Ruiz, 29, is nicknamed The Destroyer and his only defeat in 33 fights came as he challenged Joseph Parker for the WBO title Joshua currently holds.

Hunter, meanwhile, has one loss in 17 bouts – as he was beaten on the scorecards by cruiserweight king Oleksandr Usyk as he went for his WBO strap.
