The Stanley supremo has only been with the club for 2½ years but it has been one heck of a journey.
From not even being able to pay the milk bill — ironic for a club previously best known for its role in an Eighties milk advert — to the third tier.

“I didn’t want to own it. It was never in my life’s plan to own a football club. I don’t see myself as owning a club, I see myself as looking after it temporarily.
“The football club was in serious distress. They were so starved of cash they couldn’t even buy beer to sell it.

ACCRINGTON hero Kayden Jackson really is made of the white stuff . . . after toasting promotion with a specially-made pint of milk!
Grocer ASDA delivered 27 pints to the Wham Stadium complete with labels asking, ‘Who are they?!’ — a nod to the 1980s Milk Marketing Board ad that famously mocked Stanley.
“All I’ve done is put that right. Someone had to or it would have gone bust.
“We had £1.2million of debt and it needed £600,000 of working capital to get trading again. It was behind paying its bills despite fans putting their own money in.
