2020 Mets 60-game schedule with dates: What to watch forJuly 6, 2020
The Mets will receive plenty of early national TV exposure as part of their 2020 schedule, which was released Monday.
As first reported by The Post last weekend, the Mets will open at home against the Braves on July 24. That game at Citi Field will begin at 4:10 p.m. as part of ESPN’s coverage. Two days later, the Mets and Braves will play the Sunday night game carried by ESPN. Within that first week, the Mets also have a Thursday home game against the Red Sox that will be carried by FOX.
Overall, the Mets will play 40 of their 60 games against the NL East. The other 20 games will be against the AL East, with six scheduled for the Subway Series. The first series against the Yankees is Aug. 21-23 at Citi Field. The following weekend, Aug. 28-30, the series shifts to Yankee Stadium.
The Mets will twice visit Washington – including a four-game series at Nationals Park that concludes the season. The Braves will make two trips to Citi Field, and the Mets twice visit Philadelphia.
Home and away series are scheduled against the Red Sox and Orioles in addition to the Yankees. The Mets will visit Toronto and play the Rays at Citi Field.
