Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have released their six-part documentary series, titled Harry & Meghan, where they will open up about their lives and most notably, their time as senior working members of the Royal Family.

The six-part series will be released in two instalments. The first, titled Volume I, will consist of three episodes and will be released on 8 December.

Volume II, containing the final three shows, will be made available to watch via Netflix on 15 December.

There has always been rumoured tensions between the Sussexes and the Prince and Princess of Wales but things turned particularly frosty after Harry and Meghan's bombshell announcement that they would be stepping back from their roles as senior royals and moving to America.

Brothers William and Harry are reportedly not on speaking terms and the relationship has been damaged by bombshell claims made by the Sussexes.

Kate and William reportedly have no intention of watching the hotly-anticipated six-part series.

The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly enjoy doing the school run, so they will no doubt be taking their children – Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis – to school when the docuseries lands on Netflix on Thursday morning.

They have no public engagements in the diary so William and Kate may be spending the day at their new Windsor home, Adelaide Cottage, spending some quality time together or preparing for Christmas.

Harry & Meghan opens with a statement saying members of the Royal Family declined to comment on the content within the series. It is unknown if the Royal Family will respond to any of the claims made in the series after it airs.

However, the late Queen did issue a statement after Meghan and Harry's bombshell interview with Oprah Winfrey.

It said the royals were âsaddenedâ to learn of âthe full extentâ of the difficulties the couple faced after Meghan married into the family.

âThe issues raised, particularly that of race, are concerning,â the statement read. âWhile some recollections may vary, they are taken very seriously and will be addressed by the family privately.â
