A blogger has gone viral after challenging her female followers to ask their secret crushes out on a Valentine’s date.
Dami Olonisakin, from London- who goes by the name Oloni- took to Twitter this week, encouraging singletons looking for love to ask potential suitors for a date.
‘Ladies..who’s ready for the Valentine’s Day challenge this year? Message your crush “I’ve had a crush on you for some time. Would you like to go on a date with me this Valentine’s Day?” Tweet me a screen shot of their response to this thread. GO!’ she wrote.
And her tweet quickly went viral, racking up over 10,000 likes, retweets and comments from followers hoping to find love.
However for many it didn’t quite go as planned, as documented in hilarious screengrabs.
After one brave woman messaged her crush, she got a less than encouraging reply of ‘Who’s this?’.
And when the singleton replied ‘the mother of your future kids x’, she was left further perturbed by his reply of, ‘Sandra?’.
Elsewhere one unrequited crush replied in true Simon Cowell style, responding bluntly: ‘It’s a no’.
But some attempts ended happily with one crush replying: ‘Yes I would love to go for a date with you’.
