The holiday season is here!
While you are out there getting gifts for others, don’t forget to treat yourself. Social media superstar and well-traveled canine Tinkerbelle is here to help you come up with ideas.
The doggie model and self-proclaimed diva has curated a list of her favorite pet-friendly travel destinations, complete with hotel and activity recommendations, so you can start planning a getaway with your furry friend for the new year.
Audrey Hepburn once said, “Paris is always a good idea.”
Hotel: La Clef Louvre Paris
Puppy Perks: Pets of any size are welcome for an additional fee of 10 Euros per night, per pet. Whenever I returned from my daily adventures in Paris, the staff at the La Clef Louvre were there to greet me happily and eager to hear about my day, and in the morning, they greeted me with plenty of hugs and kisses. You could really tell they embraced their pet guests and treated them just like humans.
To Do: We spent our days strolling the streets and seeing the sights, and our nights enjoying sublime Parisian cuisine and watching the lights of the Eiffel Tower twinkle. The Palace of Versailles was truly impressive. I felt very loved during my time in Paris.
I was welcomed into shops, restaurants, cafés and other places usually reserved for humans. Many humans I met were happy to see me and I was offered lots of water and treats. I met many other chic Parisian pups and their humans as we explored the city.
With no roads, just canals and bridges connecting more than 100 little islands, Venice is one of Italy’s (and the world’s) most alluring destinations. Luckily, I was able to explore this historic floating city and all it had to offer a 5-lb. diva pup.
Hotel: NH Collecton Venezia Palazzo Barocci
Puppy Perks: This pet-friendly luxury hotel is situated directly on the Grand Canal of Venice. Because of this, they have their own private water dock which provides extreme convenience when arriving and departing the hotel. No lugging bags through the streets and bridges of Venice, trying to find your lodging.
Upon arriving to the NH collection Venezia Palazzo Barocci, I was greeted with a warm welcome of smiling faces, hugs and kisses from the staff while my human was treated to espresso, a light snack and even a glass of prosecco! One of the employees even brought me water to drink after my long journey.
My room was a Junior Suite on the second floor with a Grand Canal View and Terrace. The room was immaculately clean with a sleek, modern vibe.
To Do: The entire city is extremely pet-friendly, and I met many local Venetian pups along the streets, in cafés, on the Vaporetto to the other islands and even in restaurants.
Escape the harsh winter cold with a spa weekend getaway at the Delano in Las Vegas.
Puppy Perks: The Delano Las Vegas is one of MGM Resorts’ dog-friendly hotels that offers dedicated pampering services for diva dogs, like me. So, while my human was being treated like the queen she is, I was too! At just $75 extra per night, per dog, I think that’s an absolute steal!
The Delano gave me a Doggie Delights Menu at check-in so I could order room service throughout my stay. It offered a variety of freshly cooked doggie delicacies straight from the hotel kitchen.
One of my favorite parts about the Delano Las Vegas was the fabulous Doggie Butler Service. Along with the Doggie Delights Menu, they also gave me a whole menu of different pampering options at check in. I decided to try out the “plush and pampered services.” From that package, I was taken for daily walks and given the most relaxing massages.
To Do: Spa day, hit the dog-friendly casinos and explore the strip
When you think Newport, Rhode Island, you probably think summer destination, but my December visit to the Grace Vanderbilt Hotel proves it is most definitely a year-round destination — with a special magical touch during the holiday season.
Hotel: Grace Vanderbilt Hotel
Puppy Perks: My pet-friendly room was large and spacious with modern touches for my human, and a beautiful, comfy dog bed for me to lounge in, along with food and water bowls. Not only is there a room service menu for humans, but there is also a pet room service menu. My favorite was the chicken and rice!
To Do: Visit local shops, restaurants, cafes and mansions
The perfect winter getaway for a busy New York socialite.
Hotel: Kimpton Onyx Hotel
Puppy Perks: Luxury XL Boston dog bed, “BAHSTON” themed dog treats, ONYX Pet Waste Bags and Kimpton dog food and water bowls were all included in my stay. The hotel also has a wine hour for guests, where they can enjoy complimentary wine in the lobby with their pets!
To Do: Visit Quincy Market and the North End
Need a luxury Caribbean vacation to escape winter weather? Look no further! I have found the ultimate exclusive paradise at Eden Roc Cap Cana in beautiful Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!

Guests are also provided with a private golf cart to get around the property during their stay. The Eden Roc Beach Club is an exclusive, private experience with on-beach service, day beds and umbrellas!

Escape the winter cold with sunshine, palm trees, luxurious pools, lovely green parks and warm humid air. Kissimmee is a hidden gem!
Hotel: Bohemian Hotel
Puppy Perks: The hotel welcomes one dog up to 40 lbs. for an additional fee of $150, or two dogs for an additional fee of $200 per stay. I was greeted with my own sign on the door and some special treats just for me. I loved relaxing and admiring the views from the amazing pet-friendly balcony. There’s nothing quite like having my own private terrace! I loved sitting out there on a warm day and watching the sun sparkling on the water.
To Do: The town of Celebration is only a short walk away. It was designed to resemble a classic historic American small town, with peaceful tree-lined streets and civic buildings designed by world-famous architects. Celebration is wonderfully dog-friendly. There were many parks where I could run, sniff and play! There’s a beautiful walking and biking trail that takes you along the scenic boardwalk — a great way to explore the city. If you’re looking for a place where you can take plenty of scenic walks with your human and sniff lots of flowers — you’ll love Celebration.
One of the things I loved about our stay here was the number of pet-friendly, al fresco dining restaurants. My human got to enjoy plenty of delicious meals with me by her side.
