Dr Scott Miller is a regular face on the nation’s TV screens thanks to his job as This Morning’s resident vet.

But when he’s not offering concerned viewers advice on their sick pets, the Aussie has a pretty nice life off-screen.

Here’s everything we know about him.

Who is Dr Scott Miller?

Dr Scott Miller, 46, is an Australian vet who was born in Brisbane in August 1975.

He graduated from the University of Queensland Veterinary School at the age of just 22 and began his career at the RSPCA Clinic in Sydney.

As this was the largest animal hospital in Australia, it was also where TV series Animal Hospital was filmed. This is where Dr Scott got his first taste of being on camera.

How did Dr Scott end up on This Morning?

After working in Australia for a couple of years, Scott – who has British parents – decided to move to the UK.

He worked all over the British Isles before eventually settling in East London where he ran his own animal practice for four years.

His first big TV break in the UK was as the vet on reality series Big Brother.

Scott went on to appear on shows such as Crufts, Blue Peter, The Paul O’Grady Show and his own reality show, Vet on the Hill, which saw cameras follow his clinic and join him on house calls.

Since then he has been the resident vet on ITV’s This Morning where he gives advice on how Brits can best care for their pets.

Is Dr Scott Miller married and does he have children?

Dr Scott is married to 43 year old British model and TV presenter Zoe Christien.

They met when he first appeared on This Morning and began dating.

After proposing in Vietnam, the pair tied the knot at a registry office in London before having a dream 10-day beach wedding in Portugal.

The couple, who live in Richmond, south west London, have three children together; Summer, Quinn and Jackson.

Does Dr Scott have pets?

The family have a dog, cat and a menagerie of other animals, including guinea pigs, chickens and a hedgehog.

It is thought they also have a pet tortoise called Beaches and a rabbit called Buddy.

While they have a new puppy, their other dog Betty recently passed away aged 14 years.

Does Dr Scott still work as a vet?

Dr Scott has two veterinary practices in south west London, in Richmond and St Margarets.

He also owns a farm in Portugal.

As well as his TV career, Scott has also written for various pet and children’s magazines.

The vet is also pretty popular on Instagram – his account @drscottym has nearly 20,000 followers.
