Tesco is selling an inflatable hot tub for £265 – and it's cheaper than Aldi and Lidl'sMay 14, 2019
TESCO has joined a supermarket price war as it slashes the price of an inflatable hot tub to £265.
That means the supermarket's garden accessory is cheaper than pools sold by Aldi and Lidl.
Tesco was selling the CleverSpa Amalfi Hot Tub for £385 but has reduced the pool by 31 per cent to £265 as part of its ongoing centenary celebrations.
That makes it £34 cheaper than Lidl's £299 inflatable tub, which it's bringing back this Sunday.
And it's £85 cheaper than Aldi's £349.99 version, which has sold out online.
Tesco's tub has a grey weave rope design on the outside and can inflate in just five minutes.
With a 1.8 metre diameter, it can fit four adults comfortably.
It comes with 110 massaging air jets – slightly fewer than Lidl's – and is controlled via a digital panel on the side of the tub.
It can be used indoors and outdoors if you have enough room in your home to fit the giant tub.
Plus, it comes with a year's warranty so if it breaks in that time, you can get it repaired or replaced free of charge.
The hot tub is only on sale at Tesco's 488 larger stores, not online.
And you'll have to be quick if you want one, as the offer is only on until May 27 and these inflatable hot tubs keep selling out.
Tesco's tub is cheap but you can get one for just £250 at B&M and B&Q.
The discounter brought back the back garden gadgets just over a month ago, and they've since sold out online.
Meanwhile, B&M started selling the popular hot tubs in February for £299.99, but it has currently discounted them to £250.
The same gadget costs £379.99 at Very.co.uk, while Argos also sells the popular range of Lay-Z Spas but the prices start from £400.
