“Teen Mom OG” stars Catelynn Lowell and husband Tyler Baltierra welcomed a baby girl into the family Thursday.
Born at 9:24 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21, her name is Vaeda Luma, the couple announced to US Weekly.
That’s a different name than fans might have been expecting. On an episode of the show, Baltierra said they wanted to name the new baby Tezlee.
On Thursday, the excited dad proclaimed Vaeda’s arrival on Instagram with a photo that showed her weight and length: 6 pounds, 4 ounces and 19 ¾ inches.
“She’s here and I’m in love,” he wrote.
Vaeda joins big sister, 3-year-old Novalee Reign. The couple, both 25, have been together for 13 years. They gave their first daughter, Carly, up for adoption as seen on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant” in 2009.

The couple announced their pregnancy in September.
“It was a huge shock at first. We were not planning it, especially after the miscarriage and how I went downhill with my mental illness,” Lowell told US Weekly.
Lowell had announced she was pregnant on an episode of “Teen Mom OG” in January 2017. A few months later, the couple revealed they had miscarried. Lowell later went into treatment for suicidal thoughts and to overcome childhood trauma.
The couple has had ups and downs, which they’ve addressed with counseling and brief separation.
Lately, they’ve been presenting a loving picture on social media. Baltierra wrote on his Instagram in December:
“As I look back on this past year, I’m reminded how blessed I am regardless of all the hard times we have experienced. I love my family more than words could express & I’m so happy where we are in life & proud of all the work we have done.”

Lowell also had a sweet message for him on Christmas, saying on her Instagram, “Thanks for blessing me with three beautiful girls and choosing me as your wife ❤️ I’m truly blessed by you! I love you!”
