Shops including John Lewis, H&M and Boots slash up to 70% off prices in early Boxing Day salesDecember 22, 2021
CHRISTMAS is still a few days away but some retailers have already started their Boxing Day sales and are slashing prices.
Bargain-hunters and last-minute gift buyers can already nab a discount as stores look to get ahead of the game this year.
The likes of John Lewis, Asos and House of Fraser have already unleashed huge discounts, with the price of some items reduced by 70% or more.
Fashion, perfume, electronics and sportswear are just some of the areas you can scope out a deal.
It's not the first time this year that retailers have decided to get an early start on their sales.
Just last month, many major sites launched their Black Friday sales days or even weeks before the actual shopping event.
The Boxing Day sales have traditionally been the biggest shopping day in the UK calendar, but this year a host of retailers have revealed they will not be opening their doors on the day.
Aldi, Morrisons and M&S are among the businesses that have confirmed they will stay shut the day after Christmas.

And there are plenty of bargains to be had elsewhere too.

As with any sale, remember it's only a bargain if you wanted that item anyway.
Shoppers should also be on the lookout for dud deals – research by Which? earlier this year found that nine in 10 offers were actually fake bargains.
It said that 187 of 201 products it looked at on Black Friday cost the same or more than they did in the months before.
As always, you should compare prices before you shop to make sure you're getting a good deal.
