Are ‘Shahs of Sunset’ star Mercedes Javid and husband Tommy Feight divorcing?

Never mind the fighting — the friendship between Mercedes “MJ” Javid and Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi may be the biggest twist on Season 9 of “Shahs of Sunset.”

Javid, 48, and Gharachedaghi, 39, haven’t always been on the best of terms, but Javid teased to Page Six that fans will see a different side of their relationship when the Bravo series returns on Sunday.

“I was pleasantly surprised by Golnesa in the best way,” Javid said. “I see that she’s really evolved from the girl that we all met 10-plus years ago, and I really appreciate the fact that we both got to be moms at the same time. So, I love seeing a different side of Golnesa that I haven’t seen before.”

Javid noted that she has also changed since the show’s 2012 premiere, saying with a laugh, “Season 1, I said no kids, no husband, nada. I just wanted to sell a house and go to Coachella. And that’s all I wanted in the world!”

Javid added that her 2-year-old son, Shams, and Gharachedaghi’s 1-year-old son, Elijah, now have weekly playdates with each othfer — something that never seemed possible when Gharachedaghi was pregnant.

“It’s really, really fun to let the boys learn how to share toys and interact with each other and figure it out and sing songs,” she gushed. “It’s fun.”

Javid noted that she had to work on herself to get her friendships in a better place, saying, “I think I’ve never been more vulnerable towards my female friends because those relationships — I started to notice that from a new light as a mom, I started to understand that being vulnerable in the moment is crucial for our relationships to get stronger.”

For her part, the “Genuinely GG” podcast host acknowledged her own growth in a separate interview with Page Six.

“They hated me. They hated me. They hated me!” she said of her first season on the show. “But you know what? Times have changed. It’s 11, 12 years now that we’ve been doing this. So, we were different people than we are now, and it’s inevitable to not change and make those transitions.”

She added, “Honestly, the audience doesn’t want to see the same things that we were doing 11, 12 years ago. They want to see us evolve with them. And we have to follow what’s happening and show our reality. And we’re living in a very tough world right now, filming through a pandemic and being able to actually capture that and give a dose of that to the world is really exciting.”

Season 9 of “Shahs of Sunset” premieres May 16 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
