Sainsbury’s is selling school uniform items for as little as £1.
When they were shopping in their local supermarket, an eagle-eyed shopper spotted a two-pack of pleat dresses for a quid.
The frocks typically retail at £9, so the parent managed to snag a real bargain.
On Facebook’s Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the mum shared a snap of her affordable buy.
She wrote: "Girls pinafore dresses for £1 in Sainsbury's. I assume its last years design as there were different ones on the rack."
The post prompted others to come forward with their bargain buys.
Sainsbury’s customers revealed they’d found skirts and packs of boys shorts for £1.
The deals can be found nationwide but they’ll only be available while stock lasts, the supermarket has confirmed.
It’s also worth noting that the discounts are in store only.
But if your local outlet doesn't have the deals, there's no need to fret.
Head to the Sainsbury's website for more affordable items from the Tu range.
You can pick up a three-pack of unisex polo shirts from £3.50, which is just over a quid each.
Meanwhile, a two-pack of skater skirts retails at £6.
T-shirts are also very affordable, with white crew neck tees selling for £3 for a three-pack.
Navy joggers can be bought from £6 for two pairs, while duos of trousers are available for £7.
