Queen will be back at work after COVID fears

February 12, 2022

The queen will be back at her desk Monday after fears that she might have caught COVID-19 from her eldest son who tested positive for the virus earlier this week.

Prince Charles, 73, tested positive for the virus two days after he sipped tea with the Queen, 95, at Windsor Castle, Britain’s Sun newspaper reported.

The triple-jabbed queen has had no symptoms and had a negative test result, but will be closely “monitored and tested” throughout the weekend, according to the newspaper.

Royal sources told the Sun that the queen has several appointments next week, including video calls with ambassadors that she is scheduled to conduct from her desk at Windsor Castle.
