CHER's glam former home in Miami Beach has gone on sale for a whopping £33million – ten times more than she sold it for.

The pop icon bought the stunning mansion for £1.1million in the mid-nineties and almost tripled her money when she sold it for £3.4million just three years later.

But now the exclusive Miami Beach property, situated in a gated community on La Gorce Island with 24 hour security, is now going for an extra £30million.

Cher’s former residence also happens to be the childhood home of former First Lady Jackie Kennedy, before it was picked up by Calvin Klein’s co-founder Barry K. Schwartz in 1993.

The current occupants are James Eaton and his wife Cecily but the couple are ready to sell the estate to a lucky new owner just three years on from acquiring it for £13.3million.

Cher’s former estate boasts six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and three half-baths.

On top of that, the 12,450-square-foot Spanish-contemporary mansion includes an open-floor plan and offers floor-to-ceiling windows that offer natural light and show off the Miami sea.

Immediately after stepping inside the miniature palace, you are exposed to an impressive foyer which offers tall roofs, curved archways and a dual staircase.

The kitchen has marble countertops, while a full home bar and a huge central island make it an ideal location for hosting dinner parties and celebrations.

As well as a sitting room, a marble bath and a two-person shower, you can also find a top-floor studio, a large private terrace and your own-walk in wardrobe.

Cher may no longer live in one of the island’s most luxurious properties but the 77-year-old still boasts an impressive real-estate portfolio with homes in Hawaii, California, New York and Florida.

And she isn’t the only celebrity to have lived here, with the likes of Billy Joel, Lil Wayne, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh also previously enjoying residence on the island.

The area’s famous nightlife, restaurants, and Florida's most beautiful beaches are also less than five miles away from the island, making it the perfect location to live.
