My boyfriend and I never have sex because he's always making excuses to get out of it

His latest hilarious excuse was that he tripped, fell against his workbench and bruised his manhood so it was too sore for him to have sex. I have known him for two years and always liked him. I am 42 and he is 49, but he is quiet and shy and it took a long time before he asked me out.

Things progressed and we first had sex five months ago. I was delighted as the sex was amazing, but it did not last. He has stopped wanting it over the past months. He makes a lot of excuses, such as he is too tired or has got a bad back.

He told me his last relationship ended because his ex-girlfriend went off sex, so I don’t understand why he will not do it with me now.
