My best friend never finds time for me anymore now he has a girlfriend
February 19, 2019He used to be the life and soul of the party, a real lads’ lad. We are all in our early 20s. We are happy he has found a girlfriend but now he can never find time for any of us.
Every time we invite him to anything, he is busy or he needs to see if he can get time off work or something similar.
If ever he does come to anything, say to football, then she is always in tow. We just want our old friend back but is it too late?
DEIDRE SAYS:Maybe it is just the excitement of a new relationship.
If you suspect she is insecure and jealous and feels threatened by your group of mates, tell him they both need their separate friendships and continue inviting him out.
He should encourage her to do her own thing too.
