Mum, 46, wows fans with youthful looks who claim she’s ‘ageing backwards’November 23, 2020
A mum has stunned the internet with her youthful looks.
Alicia Schoroth, 46, from Ontario, Canada, has revealed her secrets to reversing the ageing process.
But things haven't always been this way for the fitness coach.
As a child, Alicia was always overweight and struggled with eating disorders throughout her teens.
When she was 26, the mum got her wake-up call when her dad tragically passed away due to complications with diabetes.
She signed up for a gym and started to develop a passion for health and exercise well into her 30s.
Then at the age of 42, Alicia registered for her first fitness competition.
Now the fitness fan looks and feels better than she did as a young woman.
She said: "I joined a gym when I was 26, after my father passed due to complications from diabetes.
"I realised that I had to focus on my health and fitness. I was overweight as a child and battled an eating disorder in my teens.
"In my early 20s, my health and fitness were a mess when I was at university.
"I have battled my weight my entire life, I completely reset my metabolism with my fitness and nutrition."

Alicia, who has over 24,200 followers on Instagram, added: "I am so proud that today, at 46, I feel and look my best.
"I'm strong and have so much energy. I also feel my healthy lifestyle has put the brakes on ageing.
"And I'm so proud that I can be a positive example to women over 40 to show that age is irrelevant and anything is possible."
The mum trains five times a week, lifting heavy weights and also incorporating high intensity training with cardio in her regime.
She has even earned four pro cards in the international fitness organisation UFE, beating women half her age.

Another added: "Powerful post! You are not even ageing."
A third gushed: "Wow! Gorgeous! It is definitely harder as we get older."
And a fourth wrote: "Such a beast."
Alicia has also shared her tips for looking younger in her 40s which includes exercise and a balanced diet.
She explained: "If they do any resistance training, they don't focus or lift enough to get results. Correct resistance training is key!
"We need to look at food as medicine. We need to focus on nutrient dense foods that build muscle.
"I lift and don't overdo it with cardio. Instead of a session on a treadmill, a short session of HIIT or even a 40 minute walk is enough.
"Our bodies respond differently to exercise and food. What worked in our 20s, no longer works."
