Liam Gallagher has shared a look at his injuries after falling out of a helicopter.

The 48 year old singer took to Twitter to share a close up of his bruised face with a large plaster on and cream on his lip and forehead.

The singing star had been performing at the Isle of Wight festival, but things took a turn for the worse as he fell from his helicopter.

The star joked he'd fallen from 100,000ft, and penned: "So check this out I fell out the helicopter last night you couldn’t rite it all good who said RnR is dead C’mon you know LG x"

He then later re-shared the same photo, joking he'd got the cover shot for his next album.

Fans of the star were quick to wish him a speedy recovery, with others questioning how he managed to fall out of a helicopter, to which Liam replied: "You tell me."

One fan penned: "Hope you’re feel better soon. Sounds crazy," while another added: "how on earth did you fall out a helicopter, liam?"

Liam also told a fan that the footage would appear in his next music video.

The star played a number of Oasis classics while at the Isle of Wight Festival as he closed the opening night, including Rock N Roll Star and Cigarettes & Alcohol.

It comes after the star threw his support behind teen tennis sensation Emma Raducanu.

Liam tweeted his support of the young sporting star, and reacted to her third-round win over Sorana Cirstea by tweeting “BIBLICAL.”

He later tweeted to say that he watched Emma’s match and suggested his fans do the same.

The singer tweeted: “Get on the Les Dennis today and get behind Emma Raducanu celestial talent.”
