Lady Gaga wears over 100 carats of diamonds to the Golden GlobesJanuary 7, 2019
If you thought Lady Gaga‘s Golden Globes dress was enormous, just wait until you get a load of the diamonds she wore with it.
The Best Actress nominee, 32, wore a voluminous periwinkle Valentino Haute Couture gown that paid homage to Judy Garland in the 1954 version of “A Star Is Born,” pairing it with some pretty major Tiffany & Co. bling.
The pop star debuted the jewelry brand’s Tiffany Aurora necklace, a custom piece featuring 300 brilliant diamonds, including a huge 20-carat pear-shaped stone in the center.
Gaga also added $115,000 Tiffany & Co. diamond cluster earrings and three Tiffany diamond bracelets that retail for $130,000, $145,000 and $45,000, the latter of which featured over 12 carats of pear-shaped, marquise and round brilliant diamonds.
“What could be more fitting than this exquisite custom piece, named after the goddess of dawn and a cluster of stars, to mark Lady Gaga’s wonderful work in ‘A Star Is Born?’” Gaga’s stylists Sandra Amador and Tom Erebout asked in a press release.
Perhaps a gold statuette to go with it.
